Sounds like rescues are really needed in Orange now. We're being diverted from Port Arthur to Orange.

So I know that most MLM events get a lot of hate around here, and I typically avoid talking about them, but I'm involved with one because a side hustle never hurt anyone.
that being said, the one I am involved with has come through big time with this plan, and I know a lot of people here have dummy emails anyway, so if you want to give and have it doubled this is a great way to help people out more than you would have been able to before, and if you hate MLM things, well then this is a way to cost them some money and still do something to help people in texas.
The only thing that I'll ask is that if you do make an account to donate that you put TD in your username so that I know never to contact you, and I promise you'll never hear a word from me about it again.
the account set up is here and its free.
(I know I'm putting myself out there with this one, but it's worth that to help these people in any way I can, so you guys please be nice with my info and don't sign me up for anything stupid k?
)

I'm trying to find a forecast when all that water from Toledo makes it to Orange.
Hearing Friday then other sites saying Sunday.

Where do you get this info? Looks like the way Waze would display it, but I don't currently see that road blockage on the app. I see one that says they are letting large trucks and boats through Beaumont.

I saw this in the other thread and thought it was worth posting. I will update after they update us with either success or failure. Something to consider.

That looks to be the most southern route that is open per the state websites. Looks like LA shows open roads from 190 in De Ridder across state line to 190 in TX, but TX site shows water on 190 (but not closed) from state line to TX FM 2626.

Are this many still in need of rescue???
I have the "rescued" button off so idk why it's showing the green checks but that's a lot still in need if accurate.

Does anyone have any idea when I-10 will be opened into Houston?

No idea but from the looks of the linked video it may be a few more days at least.

Interstate 10 Westbound remains CLOSED at the Texas state line. We have closed the highway at the request of Texas authorities who cannot handle thousands of vehicles traveling into the state with nowhere to go. Here is video taken yesterday of I-10 between Vidor and Beaumont, Texas.

So the Beaumont Civic Center is a good place to drop off supplies? I want to roundtrip it from NOLA tomorrow.
