drowned.

How did they handle the mosquitoes? Covered themselves with mud.

So why are there hurricanes in the Pacific that mess up Asia?

To atone for the sins of our forefathers I shall sacrifice 10 bulls, 3 goats and a hummingbird to Zeus. After the sacrifice we will read the entrails of the goats and look for favorable signs.

I've actually heard this from someone before. Didn't realize it was an actual belief.

Why would they be thrown overboard? At that time they were considered property. Why would someone through their stuff overboard? It would be like throwing food and clothing away...

So the dead bodies wouldn't stink up the boat, for starters. Sorry I have to spell that out, I thought maybe you were smarter than that. Won't make that mistake again.

Let's throw all of the OT on an over-packed ship (shackled and tied) where they are beaten and starved for a 3 month journey and see how many survive.

I guess the hurricane made a wrong turn when it hit the poor areas where black people live?

Also, i wouldn't doubt if the person who told ur wife this, got that shite from facebook/twitter/ or a local activist priest. Places where stupid shite like that is talked about.

I honestly think hurricanes are spiritual. If you remember, most slaves who were taken from Africa over to the United States on slave ships were thrown overboard into the ocean. Maybe it's spirits giving payback. If you think about it, most hurricanes if not all, starts from Africa, makes it's way to the Caribbean, then travels up the east coast starting from Florida until it dies down once it hits Maine. The interesting thing about that is that's the same route those slave ships took from Africa to the US. Also: "Her"- icanes form of the west coast of Africa from the exact area where the slaves were taken and most of them take the same path. It called hurricane for "Her"= mother Africa. Scientifically, they began with variation of different temperatures, moisture & tropical winds. Spiritually, these are events of reciprocity from the savage treatment of the stolen goods from Alkebulan. Just something to think about.

This is dumb.

What about the hurricanes that form in the Pacific and hit China? Black man's revenge on the Chinaman? Typhoons, cyclones, and hurricanes are just not African you do realize?

The word "hurricane" has NOTHING to do with Africa. In addition, how were they stolen goods since the majority of slaves were capture in tribal wars, sold by Africans to Europeans. In a since, slaves were considered war gains and property in the eyes of African tribes who captured them. So, by definition and in a weird and sick situation, the were not stolen but sold.

I really want off this world soon.

Ok, I am thinking about it and it seems like the reason both hurricanes and slaves ships took the same path would have a lot to do with prevailing wind and water currents. But by all means, let's ignore any logic-based conclusions.
