Like I said, copy the word of God, change things you don't like, then receive additional word from God that aligns with your desires.
You mean what Jews say Christians did with the NT?
quote:
There is a hadith that agrees with everything I said, ostensibly from Muhammad's baby bride.
Nevermind

What do Muslims say of the NT?
Please speak out the other side of your mouth for this answer.
Also tell me what I already know is your reason for yoir response to the hadith I mentioned. Please include how you came to that conclusion.

They just claim that, because they think it will piss off the Jews.

What do Muslims say of the NT?
They have this weird aversion to the idea of Christ being crucified

God gave initial revelation, that Jews fricked up. God sent Jesus to explain to Jews how they fricked it up, and Christians then took the words of Jesus and fricked that up. God then sat down with Mohammed and dictated his Will word for word so Muslims couldn’t frick it up.

You’re not worth engaging with, beyond giving information to other people in the thread

You're fun to engage with. You can shite talk Christianity while defending the death cult and you think you are teaching lurkers something.
Please continue teaching.

The entire premise of the Quran is that God is annoyed that humans managed to frick up his revelation again, so now he’s going to lay out word for word rules, and a lot of that is “clarifying” Bible passages.
it's interesting the way the quran tells the old testament stories. they often add bits to make certain characters more clever or give an ulterior motive. sometimes it struck me as over-explaining or injecting narrative into something that was supposed to be vague, but still interesting.

Contrasting them is easy (differences between them).
Hard thing to do is compare them (likenesses between them).
In Christianity, being saved means being delivered from sin and its consequences through faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in eternal life and a transformed relationship with God.
In Islam, the concepts of redemption and salvation are distinct from Christian teachings. Islam does not have a concept of redemption through a savior. Instead, the focus is on personal responsibility, repentance, and seeking forgiveness directly from God.
Similarity in who their messages were for given where and when the message began:
In Christianity, God John 3:16'ed in a place and at a time on Earth where it was impossible to spread efficiently around the world. Today, 70% of the Earth's population is NOT Christian. One can argue that human rejection is in play. Yet, proximity, logistics, language translation, and population growth in Earth's geographies were HUGELY dependent on all of these things to get Jesus' message to them. Huge dependencies in John 3:16 for something so fundamental to / critical for after life.
Why would God, all knowing / loving, put the most central feature of Christianity (being saved) at risk (of never getting access to) to most of the world? Reconciled that as Jesus was not intended for all of the world. Any other explanation?
Islam, similar place and time...same reconciliation.
Does this similarity resonate?

Yes, the correct one is always the one that has to outwardly declare victory at some random moment.

I just think that it’s funny how highly you think of yourself. And I don’t punch a clock, doofus. I do however have a job where if work needs to be done, I do it.
