I was recently in Golden, and Colorado School of Mines would have been an awesome place to go to school. Beautiful town.

Usually can't wait to get home when I go there but I'm coming from Seattle. We have the same plus water.

Mostly not a fan of high elevations for extended periods.

Haven't been there but Denver seems cool and most people I've heard that have been there love it.

My friend out there says the snow hasn't been great so far, but it looks like they should pick up some snow on Monday/Tuesday. Should make for some good skiing anywhere in that region next week.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever say this. I love Denver. Every time I've been there it is always so clean. I don't like the amount of hipsters there, but I guess that will be everywhere. Love the weather for sure.

You have to try pretty hard to not enjoy Denver.

This. Its got a ton of stuff to do. People need to realize that while everyone knows of denver (cause its awesome), its not near as big a city. Its smaller than st louis, or tampa.

So there isnt going to be as much to as a bigger city.

But frick man, I live here and we love it. I have lived in 9 different states and none come close to CO.

I have lived here for 15 years, and while I know people who have moved away all of them did for reasons unrelated to CO - they moved for family or work reasons.

Its one of the fastest growing cities in teh country - for a reason - its awesome.

I've said this numerous times. Denver and Austin are the two most over rated cities in America. Yeah they are nice and all but people act like they are Mecca.

Austin I wholeheartedly agree is as over rated as a blumpkin, but Denver is a great city.

Seattle is a lot better than Denver in almost ever regard except for sunshine. I don't know how anyone could actually hate Denver though.

I'd loved CO and wish I was still there. But work pulled me away. I hope to go back someday.

The Front Range urban corridor will be a megalopolis if those in the area ever commit to expanding their mass transportation options.

Same here. Death of a family member brought me back. I would move back in a heartbeat if given the chance.

I haven't been back in 15 years and curious to see how it's grown.
