Likely no ... I'm not by any means homophobic but feel that if I'm against gay marriage for religious reasons, then by going would be being not true to my beliefs.

Are you scared of becoming gay if you attend? It's a wedding, not some gay orgy. I have been to several weddings where I knew nobody and always find a way to have fun

I simply don't think it would be appropriate to attend something I'm not supportive of. I respect the right to gay marriage, just wouldn't want to attend.

My cousin is getting married soon. I will be at her wedding. It's her decision (or lack there of maybe) to be gay, but she is still my cousin.
