You are confusing "affliction douches" with "delcambre reebok hicks".

Could be worse, he could be the one of the guys in the corner of the steam room trying to slip his hand b/t your towel.

I don't get over to Lafayette as much as I used to, but it is a fun town. Lots of pretty women running around. Good places to eat and drink. People there know how to have a good time.

I live in the Saint Streets, but on the Old Money side (Oaklawn) My neighbor owns Service Chevrolet. Other neighbors are lawyers, nurses, doctors, coaches and small business owners (so your Maps are a little incorrect).

Are you on Colonial or Jeanne/S. St. Louis? I'm on Colonial, (back yard is the large field behind Wetlands Research Center) we might be neighbors.

Wasn't sure if you were talking about the father or son who own Service Chevrolet. The son lives down Colonial.

Is the park across the street from you?

I'm partial to downtown

Don't do it! Was given a gift certificate for Christmas. Decided to hit it after a downtown alive.
The place wasn't crowded at all. 15 minute wait wasn't a problem. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes without being served! Was walking out the door when the hostess said our table was ready. Wished I had kept on walking. Raw oysters were unedible. Beer was hot and the service was terrible. Can't remember what my wife had but we both agree we will NEVER set foot back in the place. EVER! I knew it had gone downhill over the years but this was just terrible. What a shame that tourists come to the city and eat here and think its good food.

No one mentioned the stuffed baked turkey wing plate lunch at Laura's II. WTF?

Best soul food in town.
