Son, I raised you better, stop being a kitty.

Hell, man, I’m 45 and I have less filter than that. We were in DC a few years ago and there was, I bullshite you not, a he/she with a beard and boobs so I stopped and took pictures of it. My 16 yo son was pissing himself laughing and telling me to keep walking but I told him if it’s going to act like a circus freak I’m going to treat it as such.

You care less and less what people think of you with each passing year. It's actually pretty liberating.

Later that night we went on an errand and he flashed his brights at about 1 car out of every 3 or 4 that passed. When I told him that cars just have brighter lights he said, "You think I don't know that? I'm holding these a__holes accountable. The brights are out of control these days!"
I support your father fully in this.

I’m turning into your dad now and I’m only in my mid 40s.
Posted on 12/14/20 at 7:36 pm to Ham And Glass
No, luckily, my dad has always said dickhead shite, so after 38 years I’m very used to it.

Yes my dad who is in very poor health but has become astoundingly selfish lately.

Then what's he got to be pissed off about?
Maybe he can’t get it up anymore.

I am getting older. I am going straight past curmudgeon to misanthrope.

He's on a whole other level of idgaf what people think about me. He's also been a wonderful father and grandfather. He raised 2 of the 3 of us practically by himself. He can do it whatever the hell he wants

On another trip, he asked some kid why he was leaving his grocery cart out in the middle of the parking lot.
Apparently I am becoming a curmudgeon because I have the same question.

His typical dress is a Hawaiian shirt, cargo shorts, some kind of crazy socks and hiking boots.
Is he single?

Is he single?
Yeah
He never remarried after he and my mom got divorced. He's had girlfriends but otherwise been single since 1989. He told me at the time he'd never get married again and never has.

My dad is 77 and went to Auburn. We text during Auburn games. I invited them over for the Iron Bowl a couple of weeks ago (we live 1.5 hours apart and haven’t seen each other much lately because of COVID). Well, obviously we didn’t text each other watching the game together, but I realized one day we won’t be able to do that and it made me sad. Enjoy your Pops while he’s still here.
