except that is the definition of fat.

Depends on Body fat percentage. That is the stat of a lot of NFL player. I have a friend who is 5'10" 275 and under 10% BF. However, he did have to cut weight for some SF shite in the Army as they considered him obese based on some shitty metrics

Unless your friend is a pro bodybuilder, that's not true. Most people have a really skewed vision of what under 10% body fat is.

Under 10% is bordering on what you see with Mr. Olympia competitors. Being there at 5'10, 275, he should look like a larger Schwarzenegger.

"Overweight" based on outdated metrics doesn't mean "fat."

You are talking about probably less than 1% of the population here.
5'10" 275? I highly doubt he's at 10% body fat. He must be as tall as he is wide.

I normally only eat one meal a day and so it tends to be pretty large. I’m 6’ 200 pounds so I don’t feel like I’m being a fatty when I do this

This regimen is not working for you. You are still eating 2 meals in one session which means you aren't eating one meal a day as you have conned yourself into believing.

I doubt that you are an athlete. You aren't fat in the classic sense, but you are carrying some extra weight that you don't need to be.

I suspect that in reality you are 5'9" 222.
