They have no respect for the intricacies of that major

My spoken word thesis on vagina metaphors in contemporary political commentary would fall on deaf ears to these Neanderthals

What has floored me since Covid has been inflation. It’s much higher than has been reported. I’ll be ok. I am just surprised at how quickly prices have risen. I knew there was a high price to pay for shutting down the economy and pumping it up with lots of cash.

Boomers as a generation legitimately could fall upwards if they had an ounce of work ethic and no addictions.

This is my favorite one. Guys on here will drink $150/week of beer that they sit at home and drink by themselves and shite on a 27 year old for grabbing brunch with friends on a Saturday

So turns out a several months in that tariffs are still a terrible idea.

2001-2024 - Spend like drunken sailors

2025 - Half assed tariffs that rarely actually go active.

Idiots in 2025 - ITS THE TARIFFS!!!

I graduated high school last decade. My story is irrelevant, but it was mostly delayed gratification. And my parents teaching me that living in shitty housing to save up money to start a business while working w2 is the way to go.

Inflation is still a bitch and costs probably aren't going to go down.

Correct. That’s more 1960s when we saw a common single income family structure.

Houses were also like 1/3 the size of what they are today.

Depends. Supposedly hotels, flights and gas are all down compared to last Labor Day.

Other than the absolute frick over that housing costs have become….where are you seeing this?

Restaurants and grocery stores are busy. Shopping areas around me are painfully and annoying crowded.

I think if we fix housing and onshore some more manufacturing….we are in decent shape.

I can afford them, easily. That doesn’t make it not suck to drop $2k on something that was $1.2k some 5 years ago
Look at this, we agree.

So finance is a poor choice of a major now? Real question because I hear various opinions.

So you know zilch

I graduated LSU in engineering without a cent of debt in 2009

Completely irrelevant to the discussion

Try again pal

I’m not sure what you just proved? You’re so enthralled with being combative that you’re not even really making sense.
