W/O power since before 2am

Where are you at? My power went out at 2:20, came back on for about 10 minutes, then off again.

I’m in NW Houston.

Ummm not in Ft lauderdale. You hillbillies and Cajuns need to learn about an area before talking shite about it.

I should have bought a Coleman stove.
If anybody is using these please remember to have some fresh air flow.

A few years back AR had a big snowfall right at New Years that forecasters predicted major power outages. They were right and I am glad I decided to ride it out with both my elderly parents.

The 1st morning Dad set up the Coleman stove in the garage and started bacon and eggs. I went out to check on him and immediately raised the garage door about 6 inches. His Civil Engineer self had forgotten combustion = water + CO2/CO and he had zero ventilation.

If I had not stayed around both parents would probably have died from cooking without ventilation in the frozen unventilated garage.

It is -8 here in KC. Feels like -30. Bourbon will get you through to the other side.

It’s -24 right now where I live in Minnesota. Actual temp, not wind chill. It’s even colder in northern Minnesota.

I am in River Oaks, and my power did the same thing as yours. Woke up in the middle of the night to it all switching off. Currently freezing my nuts off.

I’m not far. Go down Blalock to Tisdell/Hollister and you’re basically at my place.

Very jealous of the coffee.
