You're naive if you think this is going to have any real details for the public. Congress will get a classified report that will be made public after being redacted as frick.

I liked it better when they lied their asses off, intimidated and killed witnesses, and made up idiotic cover stories like “”swamp gas” and Mars.
This is just confusing. I assume that these are not UFOs but really our latest technology since they are saying they are UFOs. Only thing that makes sense

If the data that is being reported on the flight characteristics of the observed craft is true....I don't see how that makes any sense at all. The idea that we have made this massive technological leap in propulsion and are testing it dangerously close to our own forces...I can't wrap my head around that one. Also pilots have been observing these craft going for decades, but even if we just take into account the recent ones from 2004 through now. Wouldnt there be some revelation or application of this tech besides military use being observed? Or scientific literature that would explain how it could possibly work?

I could see a scenario where we might choose to use our own military to test the capabilities of new technology - e.g. to see how effectively our own well-trained pilots are able to spot, identify, and pursue.
What I don’t understand is why the DoD would choose to release any information if that were the case.

I've read about those patents. The Navy spent only $500,000 a couple of years ago to look into this tech. These craft have been observed for decades. If it is ours and our government has developed technology that advanced how has none if it been spinned off elsewhere?

It has always been military behind “UFO’s”. All the way back since Roswell being a crashed weather balloon. The Kecksburg Incident was a crashed Soviet spacecraft.
I believe life could exist out there but it’s likely intelligent enough to avoid us for the same reason we leave uncontacted tribes alone.

Doubtful it's us. The thousands of reports logged over the last 75 years by pilots and others trained in observation suggests a technology far beyond what we could have developed. Not to mention if this is just us, no reason to see why they would admit this to the public now.
