My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

I'm kind of surprised that this doesn't happen more often on passes/roads like these. I've gone up some narrow gravel/dirt mountain roads where you can't see what is coming around the corner, and there are 1,000 foot, sure-death drop-offs on one side. You just have to cross your fingers, and trust that the other drivers are being cautious, and going slow.

A 22-year-old man from Durango, whose name also was not released by the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office, told deputies he had shut off the Jeep’s engine, applied the emergency brake and stepped out of the Jeep Wrangler Sport to help direct a driver behind him around a tight turn.
The man said the Jeep, with the woman in the passenger seat, started to roll.
Well that's one way to get rid of your nagging old lady in a "non-suspicious" manner.

Black Bear Pass is a pretty pucker factor trail, but it is does not appear to be that difficult.
It is on my bucket list.

I wonder what kind of badass name that jeep had?

Never ever trust the emergency brake

As a used jeep, probably still asking for $15k.
