What did these guys do for New Orleans? I'm for replacing them with actual historical figures of New Orleans. The first being Jean Lafitte, a true hero of New Orleans.
You know that they'll put up statues of thugs and criminals before any white Man

You won't. Most of them are city workers and that is illegal, Arse.

Never seen such incompetence in my life, man lift guy just jumps on, no harness then proceeds to nearly hit one guy with it. Then they tie a cable off to it and attempt to use it to pull a strap under the base while one guy knocking the hell out of it with a bar. Someone is bound to get hurt before this cluster is done and there is zero chance that base hasn't already been damaged. frick you Mitch.

Someone should call OSHA and report as an unsafe work site.
Posted on 5/11/17 at 10:22 am to Kcrad
Also they're going on 7 hours now. How long can these guys stay out there, especially considering that they started in the middle of the night? Got to be an OSHA issue here.
Jeff Landry, our AG, is the only person left in this State who has any ability to try to stop this madness at this point. I am going to remember this inaction when he runs for governor.

This is for the ignorant assholes who want to take down Pierre Gustave Toutant-Beauregard's statue.
Beauregard was born at the "Contreras" sugar-cane plantation in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, about 20 miles (32 km) outside New Orleans, to a French Creole family. (per Wiki)
He was born and raised in Louisiana. After the war, he lived in New Orleans.
For those of you without ADD, read this.

Looks like they're about to try to lift again.

OSHA usually makes you shut down after 16 hours of work in a day
That's how it was in the plant at least
