Prohibition killed almost all of the breweries in this country.
Only the large breweries (Bud, Miller Coors) survived.
When prohibition ended, these breweries decided to make the bland effervescent crap that they still make today.
Why? Because they knew men would buy any beer they could get and they believed that the bland effervescent crap would appeal to women.

I don't care what I'm called. I drink Natural Light cause I like it and I can get 30 of em for 12 bucks.
