Just know that housing list prices are starting point. Look 10-30% below your budget otherwise you won’t be competitive. The market is brutal.

Yeah the housing market is kind of concerning. I'll probably have to go at least a little while renting an apartment or something

Did a job in Broomfield, just north of Denver a few weeks ago. Was simply amazed in the beauty and the weather. Not to mention demographics baw!!!
One guy made the comment to me that if Denver was an whiter, it’d be clear. So take that how ya want. Enjoy Denver man and live a little.

Oh and another side note: Denver has gorgeous women everywhere! I travel a lot for work and it was a hot spot.

If I was 26 and had the opportunity to live in Colorado, I wouldn't have had time to make this post before I was there.

Louisiana isn't a great place to live. Nothing you posted makes up for that.

Woah, I never said New Orleans was better than Denver, I’m just saying that Denver isn’t what it’s all cracked up to be. I got out of Louisiana and everyone else should too. I first left for the Denver/Ft. Collins area and liked it at first, but eventually found my way out.

Wish I could leave. It’s a lot harder when you get settled down. fricking leave dude. If you love it and you need to help your parents, make them move up to Denver

Enjoy the granola people, shite traffic, constant snow storms, black ice everywhere. If you’re into outdoors, you’ll love the four month that you’ll get, maybe you’ll get a relaxed fall and have some extended outdoors. Enjoy your stay, you’ll be moving again within the next 5 years.

Holy shite you sound like an idiot.

Not as gross and fat, but very secular and very progressive. I'd imagine he sees a lot of "no Trump supporters" aka non-progressives on the dating apps.

You say that like it's a bad thing

Been out to Denver many times for work. Pretty cool place but that 37% raise is going to get eaten up in a hurry. You'll still love it.

Congrats, man.

What exactly are the decent areas to live in Denver? I’ve been once before but only stayed in the downtown area.

Lots of good spots. Big thing is where you are working and what kind of commute you want to put up with.

I lived in Wash Park & commuted to the north field area and it was great.

I lived in wash park & riverfront park in my time there.

I would live in wash park, riverfront park, LoHi, cheesma park, city park, cherry creek, etc. it really depends where you work and what you want to “put up” with. If you don’t mind homeless people then live in LODO, RINO, ballpark, etc.
