The fact that Walken refuses to speak about it has always made me think foul play was involved, but who really knows?
From the article
quote:
Walken has spoken with investigators.

Walken refuses to speak about it publicly.

If you were one of three men on a boat, where a woman died under suspicious circumstances, Would you want to talk about it to the public nearly 40 years later? The court of public opinion is very fickle. Seriously, the more you comment the more you are linked to a suspicious death, even if no wrong doing was done in the situation. That is a stink that won't wash off.

He's said very little. Mostly things like "I don't know." If that's your definition of him speaking about it, then so be it

oh looky here bob, Didn't know we had one of the detectives here in the OT.
All I know is what is in the article "he has spoken to investigators", how would you know what exactly he said in an investigation?

"I told her, 'you tell the angels in heaven that you've never seen evil so singularly personified as you did in the face of the man who killed you'."

We'll that is just a murder of bad timing.
Today, they would be celebrated for their bravery.

Looky here bob? Are you from the 1940's?

It pissed off Robert Wagner to no end.
Given what happened, looks like Bob had an end in mind.
And regarding Wood getting justice, if Bob killed her, he's closing in on 90 years old, so if anybody in this life is going to serve justice they better haul arse.

She was no Liz Taylor or Marilyn Monroe back in the day, but me - I thought she was the best and hottest of the bunch because she seemed so very much real. Teen me was in love with her after I saw “This Property Is Condemned” in the ‘60s. Quite a bit of that was filmed in the NOLA FQ..

Splendor in the Grass did it for me.

Christopher Walken is like: "I, don't know what, happened to her. One, minute, she's THERE, the next, she's GONE."
That’s just like him. Every word sounds like he’s trying to balance it on the edge of a knife.
