All kids can be assholes, doesn't matter their race or wealth.
Keep in mind, if it is a good parent they are probably embarrassed their child is acting out. But heaven forbid you fuss at your kid in public because some Karen on the opposite spectrum from you will be mad at seeing a kid disciplined. I treat it as a healthy balance. I like to take my kid places, he doesn't deserve to be stuck inside my home all day. He loves going out to eat and shopping. If it is bothersome to you as an adult, move to the next aisle.

I love when people think that people have children just need to spend 18 years at home and not bring them anywhere
We start them in a crib and then put them in playpen. The problems begin when we let them out of their cages. Coincidence?
I think not.

you'll be doing everyone in the store a big favor.
Maybe im doing my wife a favor by getting the kids out of the house for an hour or so, so she can do stuff she needs to do.
Id rather do someone I know and care about a favor than a frickstick like you.

as long as they are being seen and not heard, idgaf if there are kids around
it does feel like there has been a societal shift away from that though

Minnie used to have a sign saying "No Mexicans or dogs" that she took down when she started allowing dogs.

I love going to Home Depot with the kids. I like teaching them how to shop and look for things that may be needed at the house. Not to mention them learning how the concept of them doing something themselves instead of paying someone else.

Right. My son got a real tool kit for Christmas from his Grandpa. My husband was staking down the bounce house yesterday and my son was like I need to go get my hammer and nails and ran to the garage.
They need to learn things from real life experiences. We also got one of those home depot kids projects once, so he built a bird house. He loves putting bird seed in it and watching the animals eat it.

Morons like the OP will scream to the heavens about kids getting too much ipad time and in his next breath complain that there are too many kids out and about doing things with their parents

I'd rather sit next to a dog than another human at an airport.

Disagree on the kids, agree on the pets.

also, it always makes me grin to see a baw having to wrangle his kids in at a hardware store. good dads bring their kids places.
One of the simple pleasures of childhood was getting up on a beautiful Saturday morning, and Dad saying, "let's go for a ride." That usually meant we were going to the hardware store.
And I knew better than to act like a brat because if Dad found everything he needed at the hardware store, and he was in a good mood, he might stop for ice cream or stop by the bookstore so I could pick out a magazine or comic book.

Bass Pro lets people bring their dogs now apparently.
I saw a Boston Terrier jump on a 3-4 year old kid. His dad yelled at the owner, who decided to bring two of those little shits in a crowded store. I thought for sure that dog was about to get thrown in the fish tank.
