If you've seen "Kurt & Courtney" and "Soaked in Bleach", how could you not think Courtney had him killed?

I didn't even need to see anything. Just knowing how much drugs he had in his system made it clear he wasn't able to turn around a shotgun and shoot himself.

What's the motive to injecting someone with heroin and shooting them in the head?

Was he robbed? I don't recall that being in the story.

I know there was a rumor about Courtney and him getting a divorce, so she killed him for the money. But I don't know if that was true that they were getting a divorce.

The gun uses was a Remington Model 11 which has a barrel that moves back into the receiver upon firing. I can’t understand how Cobain’s hand could have stayed on the barrel when that gun went off.

Well I still don't get the injecting him with a lethal dose of heroin and then shooting him. Why not just let him overdose? Then there is no questionable suicide, just a dead drug addict that took too much heroin.

That shotgun would have been so cumbersome to shoot yourself in the head with. That's the main thing that bothered me about it.

But, when you add the sizable dose of heroin to the equation, take into account the nodding off factor it would bring......it has just always been a weird one.

There has been speculation since the day he died that it was a homicide. The leading factor supporting the theory is that the amount of heroin he ingested should’ve immediately incapacitated him, making it virtually impossible to shoot himself.

Also consider he was shot in the right side of his head. Kurt was left handed. Imagine how awkward it would be to hold a shotgun up to the side of your head with your weak hand. Not impossible but very odd.

This is attention seeking. You know in hundreds of cases each year forensic experts have completely opposite opinions. This scenario sounds like total bullshite.

The amount he had taken or was given was already very huge. Maybe they didnt have time to sit and wait for him to die or thought giving him more would be even more obvious?

ETA: probably best not to assume the assailants were particularly smart here.

They didn't even have a hit until 2001. They are nu-metal which is a different genre anyway.

There was an Unsolved Mysteries episode on this same idea back in the day.(1996-1997) I always thought something was fishy about the whole thing as well.

Unsolved Mysteries Season 9 Episode 11 start it at 29:15

Sorry it's age restricted because of the Suicide topic.
