No surprises here. The population has gotten a lot older, a lot fatter, and a lot less white since 1990. All those trends correlate with more health problems, ergo more demand for healthcare services.

The company I work for supplies major components to building exteriors and hospitals (Southeast US) have been a steady source of income since well before 2000. never stopped building them. small. large, specialized, private, state run, you name it. non stop We just finished a major project in south Fl and are working on an addition to one we did 2-3 yrs ago. also South Fl.
