Eh we probably have more in common than you imagine- average lifespan, average crime, average prisoners/population, drinking age, drug use, average health....

I can pick up my 17 year old girlfriend when she gets home from high school, take her to a motel and screw her in every hole. All perfectly legal in Louisiana.

But lawd help us if I give her a cigarette or beer. Somebody in trouble now!

If everyone starts drinking heavily jr year of high school I think you really weeds out the get shite done types and the frick ups early on. Some people just handle it better than others

Here's a big issue that nobody has mentioned...

By everyone looking the other way regarding 18 year olds drinking, it teaches people that there are laws that don't need to be followed. It creates a disrespect for the law, and is like giving a mouse a cookie. Laws are supposed to be rules agreed upon by the majority. bullshite laws just make people question other laws that are beneficial.

Anyone that isn't prohibitionist, knows it's absurd that 18 year olds can die for their country, but can't drink a beer. Why should 18 year olds be considered adults at all, if they are too immature to drink?

Make the dui penalties stiffer. There are multiple things that can be done to reduce drunk driving. But making the age 21 was the wrong answer.

I think it should be okay if you're 18 and a high school graduate.

I think the dui fatal accidents would rise sharply and be negative. I'm all for lowering, but how do you overcome or prevent that?
Are DUI deaths horrendous now?

And why aren't autonomous vehicles a bigger priority? MADD and every level of police should be moving heaven and earth for this cause.

Cops don't want autonomous vehicles. That would kill their funding. And with the continued war on drugs, make it much harder to catch people for possession.

Screw that. Let them drink whatever they want if they're going to be asked to die for their country.
