This. Granted, when traveling on road trips, especially through parts of the country without stellar local cuisine, Cracker Barrel was a frequent choice. I found (up until a couple years ago), their food to be consistently delicious for the price with a great comforting atmosphere. They killed the food and now they’ve killed the atmosphere. I see no reason to ever go back, when it used to be one of my go-to spots.

Why would anyone gets a master's in AA studies? I am serious. What advantage in life does that give you and what do you learn there that you can't read in books?

People who roll their eyes at these threads don’t seem to understand why we get upset over this.
I don’t care about Cracker Barrel redecorating or a logo change. Not the issue by itself. I haven’t eaten at a Cracker Barrel in years.
What we are tired of are these American iconic brands continually being modernized and ruined by what I call corporate Marxism. They cater to fringe groups that aren’t the target demographic of the company and completely revamp the image into plain and boring and “non offensive” and we are left with no uniqueness, no individuality. Just bland and corporate. Service goes to shite, cut corners on ingredients so food quality goes to shite, there’s no unique experience for customers. And it’s not just restaurants, this mindset has ruined music, sports, movies, just countless things that Americans used to love and enjoy and they continually ruin all of it.
There’s no uniqueness or individuality anymore. Just make everything bland and the same to try to make more profit and not offend anyone.
