I dont think anyone is willing to risk their liquor license over an opinion.
What good's a liquor license without a business?

Anecdotal stalemate
you can say that, but most places around here will give you a mask so you can enter.
BetR requires a mask. Troy's required me to have mine on today. So did Bolton's. Cottonwood is requiring it.
All the restaurants are requiring it. Except for maybe Merchant. Like I said, I don't go there or hang out with the employees.
George's and K street are just closed. As are Duvic's and Ivar's right now.

Well, see this is a temporary thing. But getting stripped of your liquor license can be forever.
The people who strip it from you are the same who give it to you.
Don't piss them off.

mask order to be unenforceable and unconstitutional. score for the good guys.
Oh good, we can go back to being the dumbest and sickest state in the nation. I was worried there for a second.

Who would defend the state if someone sued saying their civil liberties were infringed because they got arrested or a ticket from the state police due to this mandate?
Would that possibly be Landry?
I think we are missing the point. He’s sending a message that no local or state governmental reps or leo’s should consider him a friend if they get sued for enforcement of these items.
It’s a message. Not a enforced action.
Would that possibly be Landry?

Well, see some people can't go without income temporarily. Why just bars? Why not convenience stores, shoe stores, dollar generals?

There’s a lot of furor right now that this was never the case. That our numbers are maybe at worst half of what’s being reported and that JBE and his people have known for awhile.
Two and three positive test results reported in the media and in the state numbers for the same one patient.

Attorney General Landry just ruled Edwards mask rules & bar closures unconstitutional, null & void.
He actually can't "rule" anything unconstitutional. This is just his opinion and it does not have the force of law.

Both businesses acting under color of law as mask police and actual police acting as mask police could face liability if individual civil rights are violated due to the Proclamation.
This is direct from his statement.

BetR and Zippys haven’t said anything to me
Why don’t you like Merchant? Like that place a lot.

Maybe someone else made this joke in 6 pages...
But how do you hide a law from Jeff Landry?
Put it in a law book...
