The Rt will also be much lower as total percent of population ever infected increases because there are lest viable hosts.

Which is exactly what should've happened last year when "Just 2 weeks to slow the spread" started.

This thing is going to burn out. They just delayed it by locking down.

You cannot stop the natural progression of a virus that is in animals as well.

it was forseeable from the uk and israel...there was an estimated duration taking Louisiana from august peak to early september peter, but it won't make a difference for the new orleans covid pass or anything else coming down. it's basically the hokey pokey and musical chairs mixed into one. it will take hospitalization and deaths a while the slack off because there is lag between infection, hospitalization, and death....cantrell will use that lag to claim her mandate was helpful, effective, and just. from early last spring there have been clear trajectories and timelines that can be used to time each move. knowing that, you can tell when they're going to make their next move on policy.

Thank goodness too. The delay got us to a vaccine. Sadly some people have rejected the solution and 1000s more in Louisiana will have needlessly died this summer and fall.

Louisiana’s case decline is going to be a steep af downward slope if the first derivative curve bends like this

The graph of that peak is as sharp as the needle used in the vax.
