Is he suing everyone who clocked in to work that night?
Likely just going to use threats/leverage to get them to testify against servers and the establishment who knew she was underaged and served her.

Man you’re the one who portrays to be a strong conservative on the poli board but sue happy and ignoring Madison’s self decisions.
I am doing nothing of the sort. I am providing information, not whether it is right or wrong.
I know next to zero about the actual accident besides the vague stuff in the media.

Can the lyft driver after he is released from the lawsuit, countersue for his attorneys fees?

He should also add the beer and liquor distributors and the delivery drivers that delivered the alcohol to the bar, as well as the salesman that sold the bar the liquor.

And even his daughter since she was part of it.

Suing Lyft in this case s fricking stupid, which was clear form my first post in this thread and had nothing to do wit ad homs.
You are wrong from a legal perspective.
What if it goes to Trial, and the Jury or Judge puts 100% fault on the Lyft Driver after all evidence is presented?
The lawyer representing him would be sued for malpractice.

But the Lyft driver isn't going to pay a dime out of their own pocket, directly.
Tearing open the Lyft driver's wounds is not the way to go about this. The driver, who did nothing wrong, likely is already wracked with guilt and now has to relive that over and over again in court.
Including that person in this lawsuit makes the plaintiff and their lawyer a steaming pile of shite.

FIFY, that doesn't make it not stupid btw.

Then they will be stupid too. Like you said, you don't know much about this case.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Encouraged who?
Literally every lawyer in the State would include the Lyft Driver at this point.
That is how this works. You must include all potential parties.

OJ was "cleared" of all criminal charges.
How'd his civil suit work out again?

Just because you go to court doesn’t mean someone is actually guilty or not or in this circumstance you’re relying on a jury and corrupt lawyers.

I love this defense. "We all would do it, so it obviously means it's the right choice." Sue the driver if you must. Lyft is 100% not responsible here. They just have deep pockets. Just own your shittiness as a profession.

Ok, cool.
You don't know anything either other than what has been presented in the media.
Trials are incredibly unpredictable. The person who actually hit her was the Lyft driver. You cannot NOT include them and their insurance. Their lawyer has a duty to include anyone that would have a percentage of fault, even if that percentage is small.
Louisiana is a Comparative Fault state, its not all or nothing. A jury could say the Lyft Driver was 50% at fault, Madison was 40% and the others were 10%, or any combination thereof.

People carry umbrella policies and liability polices for insurance companies to defend them in the event of a lawsuit.
Reggies has insurance, Im sure Lyft will defend the driver,
Not sure about the kids....they may be fricked

Neat, now explain how Lyft the company should be "reasonably" responsible in any way besides having the deepest pockets.
