If masks worked then why don't we just wear mask every year during flu season. Instead of getting flu shots. If people don't get that this a big hoax by now they never will. Sometimes you can be so smart and book sense that you are dumb as hell when it comes to common sense. I haven't wore a mask one time and never got sick at all. I know people who wear them in their homes and never leave their house and are always sick.

Sure on the macro level your argument is the paper mask blocks the snot from flying out of your kids face holes. That's what we see and thank goodness for the paper because we don't want to be slimed. Mask saves us from kid snot.
But then there's the micro level, the land that corona virus actually lives in. On the micro level its passing through and around that mask and still coming for you and her, and me and him, and even fricking them.
Can you breathe through mask? Because virus is on the micro level of breath - if mask doesn't stop breath, it doesn't stop virus. Your kids snot is bigger, mask catches it.
If 6 months of mask mandates with cases still rising can't convince you that masks don't stop it then whatever. You wishing for the masks to be working at this point is like a Jets fan wishing for a win this season.

Exactly, even if the mask blocks these particles, they are on your mask, you touch the mask with your hands and more than likely touch our face, your infected mask then goes everywhere with you, in your car and back home where it can then possibly infect everyone there.

Well, the flu has seemingly gone away this season. You KNOW that they are going to trumpet the distancing and masks as the cause and it will be requested/required going forward.

You just do not understand. Research the “R” factor.
The objective is to get the R factor below 1. Masks can and do help with that.
Not all masks are the same. Some are 100% effective and some are less than 50% effective.
A good mask, can lower the infection rate considerably by itself. good mask, combined with distancing can lower the infection rate to 0.
