The problem is he looks like an average white guy to me. I wish all crazy fricks looked a certain way, but reality is they’re among us blending in like normal.

Sure. I think that fits the bill.
Not saying that is the case at all.
We will hopefully find out a motive, but from what little we know, we cannot make a prediction one way or another.

He wasn't in the marines, he was in the AIR FORCE. Big difference, and as far as the VBS teacher goes, any ole schmuck can end up teaching VBS in today's world. Who knows, he might have got paid to do it a little bit, or he may have simply been a helper and not actually did the teaching himself.

This wasn't a "last stand" type situation. He apparently wanted to live, based off his fleeing.
It could have been personal or merely an easy target for other reasons.
