Yeah, it just bugs me that for something even as simple as hopping a curb I’d be sweating in a Ridgeline and probably wouldn’t even do it with its lower clearance and no underbody protection.

How about you test drive them?

Is there a lift kit for a Ridgeline?

And those are the 2 choices?
Bruh, embrace your inner being and just get a Subaru....

get a leveling kit and taller tires for the ridgeline. you might even be able to get close to an inch with just the right tire

There is, but apparently due to the unibody construction it’s a little trickier than putting a lift in a traditional truck. I don’t love the idea of messing with the factory geometry. I have to think there’s a good engineering reason Honda doesn’t offer a lifted version.

The maverick is really small.
Same length as the old rangers with more cab room.
And most of y’all don’t use your trucks as trucks anyway.

This is somewhat of a comparison, but the Honda wins in every conceivable category, mainly drivetrain.
Another thing is that the Ridgeline front seats are among the best seats I have ever sat in for an OEM seat.
The Maverick may look a little better, but that's about it. A black Ridgeline looks pretty cool.
As far as the gay comments, these are coming from guys with significant penis envy, evidently.

He can do the same with a maverick. He can even go cheaper version of maverick and lift it.

Ridgeline is so damn ugly, seems solidly built but there’s no way I could drive one

You're correct re: the unibody. And yes, exceeding factory lift limits kills drivetrain components quicker than your wife on a Lakeview street.

he's looking at the tremor though, and that trim is already lifted 1" so he'd be doing the lift himself instead of buying one factory lifted.

Ii like thise Tremor packages a lot, but I don't like a 4cy, even a turbo.
The old Rangers had the V-6.

i'm not a fan of tiny engines with turbos either. i'd go with the NA v6 all day.

Honda has a reputation of "Do the maintenance, then never break down". A quick Marketplace search has 2 with 330k miles on the first row of results.
Fix Or Repair, Daily scrapped the 7.3 Powerstroke because it wouldn't break down enough. Why does Ford hate us?
The Honda is built in Alabama. The Ford is built in Mexico. Buy American.

Especially in a vehicle that will be used for towing.

Lol..that statement is so funny and true.

The Ford Scorpion 6.7, is by far, the best diesel engine available today.
The 7.3 gets a lot of nostalgia, but it is an old architecture and doesn't make anywhere near the power or efficiency of the 6.7.
I expect a 100 down votes on this post.
