Yeah my wife works for a "plastic surgeon". I had no idea that plastic surgeons did so many amputations until she got this gig. They try to save as many limbs as possible but between complications and patients that don't do what they should and injuries that don't have much of a chance to begin with it happens pretty frequently. What's somewhat funny/pathetic is the patients acting like it's the doctor groups fault they're in the situation they're in.
