i also dont think people get who/what iran is
this isnt some nomadic tribal state with an inward and backward thinking populace, the likes of which that ultimately plagued us in afghanistan
even when you factor in the awfulness of the regime, iran was still a fairly functioning society. these people are capable of putting together a modern and stable country that should be able to successfuly rejoin the global world

Well, if the diaspora wants the King in Exile back at least to oversee the construction of a functioning government. If that happens, things could go relatively smoothly. If not, who knows?
