Gen X will continue its ascent to greatness.. We are the glue keeping this shite together as the baby boomers try and frick us all while we wait for the Millennials to grow out of the cry baby stage.

I'm not a Millennial but I come into contact with a ton of them here in Asheville and I think they are getting a serious bad rap. If older people would take the time to talk to them and understand them they would sympathize with them more. Older Americans have fricked this country sideways due to greed and arrogance. I have a lot of faith in these young people as they figure things out over the next few decades. I have a lot more in common with them than I do with their parents. I know that much.

Millennials are supposed to be the smartest, most savvy generation because of the easy access to unlimited knowledge via the Internet but they're too dumb to realize that $200K in student loans for a liberal arts degree is a bad idea.

I've talked a lot about weed on the boards, and it will definitely become legal, possibly within the next decade. But I doubt I'll see legal psychedelics in my lifetime. I'm all for them, but it ain't happening.
Too many people have taken too strong of a dose or had a bad batch of lsd. Of course, drug prohibition makes it much likelier to get poor quality drugs. Similar to poisonous alcohol during prohibition in the 30s.

the first column is for Obama, second for McCain, third for other, and the fourth is % of total vote.
the oldest millennials were 28 (using 1980 as the first year of gen y) in 2008, so you can't put that on us. Gen x went Obama and they made up an equal 18%. Then you have 50-64 year olds...
