Jesus Christ dude, is English your first language? Please tell me you're from a foreign country and you haven't mastered the intricacies of our language yet.
WTF does "at least two total" mean? More appropriately, what do YOU think it means? There could be "at least two" or "two, total", but not "at least two total".

I bet one of the bad storms we've had recently led to this. Sad.

how's the weather been off the Coast of Fla the past few days?

Family just announced the floating object that was spotted was not the cooler.
This is supposedly Austin's last snapchat that he sent to a friend as they left on the trip. Really eerie.

where were the heading, just to fish for the afternoon?

Why are you so caught up in semantics here?
I get that math is a problem for you, so maybe that's it.
He avoided answering the question in definites for a reason, and I'll leave it at that.
You can't figure out how he knows one is missing when he didn't know how many were on board to begin with, and you want me to be worried about a comma?
GTFO with this stupid shite.
That is my last response to you.

Parents said they weren't supposed to go out the inlet. Marina guy said they they didn't buy supplies. A commercial fisherman said they headed out right into a squall.

I think the news said that they were heading towards the Bahamas which isn't terribly far from Jupiter.

Kids are not to be trusted in an environment that cannot be easily controlled.
So you hide in the trunk when a 16 yr old takes the car somewhere? You have to teach and trust your kids early on. Sometimes they betray you and this is the end result.
But to think you can control everything is naive.

How do you suppose they deduced that when they don't know how many life vests were on the boat to begin with? Lol
It means they know they had at least 2 onboard but no exact number total.

That breaks my heart. Praying for a miracle these boys are safe. In addition to arguing the finer points of sea navigation, everyone please send up a prayer or good wish or whatever for these boys safe return.
I can't imagine how terrified they are if they are still alive.

I know nothing about this story other than the little bit I just read but if the boat capsized and they were indeed still alive after the "accident", why wouldn't they just hang around the boat? This tells me that they aren't alive.

You have no control of where you end up once you're in the water. Much less staying with the boat.

Giving a 14 year old boy access to navigate a boat in the Atlantic Ocean is not an accident.
And if the Coast Guard knew there were two life jackets on the vessel, they would have answered the question with "at least two total".
Also, the question wasn't how many vests were confirmed, it was how many total, which he doesn't know.
NOt sure why the concept of knowing there were 2, but not knowing how many total is so tough to grasp.

I understand it's a huge ocean, but with all of the planes, boats, technology, flow charts, etc....how have they not found any of the other floating life jackets and debris?
