I like garland because he is a nam vet, but his voice is gone. I think scoot has the best to offer, although he sounds like he is suffering from manic depression.

Yeah, he blows IMO. But so did the previous version of WJBO morning talk.

Sounds like you listen.

He lets your precious mayor have it lately.

I like his sports take as the stuff about NOLA matters not to me at all.... made up or not.

i listen occasionally because its the only local sports talk I can find in the morning. Though I think I stumbled on Kattegel on 100.3 recently. But he's terrible.

Asher is too much of a "crusader", or at least he thinks he is. Sometimes I want to hear about good things happening in the city. Plus he says "ultimately" way too much

Not necessarily. It's much cheaper to pay for syndication than to pay two live people. Especially with both stations being part of the same conglomerate. Either way, his show is awful.

This is especially true with Clear Channel or whatever they call themselves these days.

It's why Michael Berry is on WRNO in the evenings and on WJBO. They do the same with Joe Pags in several markets.

I don't understand this, Baton Rouge only had one local morning show to get local news on your drive in and they cancelled it for this idiot named Gerry V. I can't stand the guy and now I can't get my local news via the radio anymore. Was the worst decision that station could have made.

Only losers give a rat's arse about morning talk radio. Get your news from the web or a newspaper and listen to tunes.... You'll be happier and America will be a better country.

Talk 107.3: local 6a-1p (Kevin Gallagher, Bill Profita, Clarence Buggs), 4p-6p (Jim Engster)
Public Radio 89.3: lots of local news inserts during Morning Edition 5a-9a
