Wade Boggs!

During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Boggs confirmed the 73-beer flight but revealed the actual number for the entire day was 107, including drinks before the flight, during, and after the stopove

I don’t remember my exact count, but my platoon and I went through twenty-five cases and a keg in about 18 hours the day before a deployment. We were up at 5 a.m., rolling everyone out of their bunks and handing them a beer. Absolute mayhem in the barracks that day. I actually have pics (l'm the sleeping on beer cans guy). Note the Monopoly board in the first pic). We replaced the money with drinks, and it spiraled out of control fast.

Your tax dollars at work.

I like your shirt.

Drinking more than 4 messes up my sleep which is something I've come to value as I get older.

Probably 25-30, and I've done that more than once, which isn't great. Haven't done it in a long while, though - a six pack of anything above 5% ABV makes me feel like dogshit the next day.

These posts aren't an apples to apples comparison without factoring in alcohol content.
My beers... Coors Banquet & Heineken are 5%
Many beers are 2.8% to 4%
Doesn't seem like much of difference but it is

Me - 18

When I was a teenager I witnessed a guy who probably weighed 130 pounds, drink 48 beers and smoke a carton of cigarettes while partying in the woods.

when I was a spry 21 year old I could drink a case while at the beach, fairly easily. I mean I would be super drunk and probably puke but I did it over the course of 6-8 hours several times. If I was taking Adderall I could put away 40 beers in a marathon session.

havent had a drink in several years, only water. Dont miss it.

Not beer , but I drank 21 screwdrivers at the keg in Lafayette way back in the day.
Puked all over the side of my truck on the way home.
It was fun washing the pulp off the paint the next day.
I don’t think I drank for a month after that.

haha that sounds awful and like something would have at least tried.

One year in high school we went to the Metairie Mardi Gras parades and all we brought was a carton of OJ and bottle of taaka and my friend and I just drank it all, warm. So shitty.

In college for spring break, we’d calculate a case of beer per person per day.
It wasn’t just traditional drinking, we’d do plenty of shotgunning, funneling, beer pong, and power hour throughout the day.
Oh to be 18-22 again.
