Yeah, I think that consultants are grossly overpaid. Like they're not just getting paid to say whatever the bigwigs in the corporation tell them to say.

That’s interesting. I’ve read the payroll for other academic institutions and usually the pediatric heart surgeons are making seven figures. But it is about the longest training bath and all of medicine. I mean, I think they deserve seven figures. Just saying, I think that they usually make that.

AI should absolutely replace real estate agents. It would accurately reflect the cost of a house more and improve the housing market overall.

They don’t even steer the ship, they just get on the ship and help direct the pilot of the ship which direction to go.

I think the military is fine where it’s at, they get immediate benefits except the VA. That’s its own travesty that absolutely deserves more money if not a complete overhaul. All the money going to immigration from fed and state govs should go to them. I doubt anyone would disagree with that. Our vets, homeless or not, deserve better from the clowns in Washington DC.
All the money cleared up by DOGE should go to those folks first, imo.
Cops, firefighters and teachers sadly don’t get their career payoff until it’s over. They all get a pension and if they want more money now it has to come out of that. Without the ratio change they will bankrupt themselves just by paying them more now. This is an unpopular opinion with most of these roles but they chose a career with the payoff at the end of it. Can’t have both.
