Attorney Seth Dornier said the children were taken because of a federal investigation. A grand jury hearing in that inquiry was going on Wednesday when sheriff's deputies found Rogers and his son-in-law, Mathew Hodgkinson, both shot at Rogers' home. Hodgkinson, who deputies said testified at the grand jury hearing earlier that day, was taken to a local hospital.
Dornier said the federal investigation stemmed from accusations in the 90s that Rogers, who lived in Great Britain at the time, had molested a child. Dornier said Rogers was exonerated and moved to the U. S., where he changed his name and adopted the children.
Now there are questions whether he lied on the adoption forms about his past arrest

None of this surprises me. He did some consultant work for me about 8 years ago and it was one of the worst business decisions I have ever made.
I had signed up to be a sponsor on his show and actually appeared on it once. The taping of that show was absolutely insane and really enlightened me as to how off that dude was.
We had a disagreement concerning some creative issues about the topics I would cover on his show and in negotiating the issues he insulted my wife over the phone. I was two months into a 6 months agreement and called him to cancel. He screamed at me like a girl over the phone and told me I had to pay him for the terms on the deal.
I told him to come over and pick up a check. He sent Mathew over but I told him that Scott would have to pick it up in person. He never did.
RIP to an obviously troubled soul.

He was exonerated of the molestation charge right? So why are you people talking like he's a known child molester?
The mob mentality here can be frightening. People are wrongly accused all of the time. And even when they are later cleared you still consider them guilty?
