Reel to reel albums are hard to find generally

I just sold the Simon & Garfunkel for $20. I probably could have gotten more

Antique, what is the estate auction website that you use for finding events? I’m interested in starting and am located in Nashville

Estatesales.net is the nationwide database where estate sale companies advertise.

While your threads are infinitely better than tulanelsu’s, that is still junk and I dunno where you’re going to put it unless you’re a hoarder.

Does anyone buy old magnetic recording tape? If so I know where I can get some this weekend

On some other message board, someone is bragging he sold a bunch of crap to some dude for a few hundred bucks at an estate sale.
“He even bought reel to reel tapes. I was about to throw them in the trash and he gave me $6. Can you believe that!”

I sell it, give it away, or throw it away. It doesn’t hang around my house for more than a few weeks (usually 3-4 weeks). I have no problem giving it away or throwing it away because I’ve made my money back on other items. It’s usually the small cheap items that I paid $1 or so for, that don’t sell.

Dude, you can (probably not) do better than this.
When I was a kid, we would reply to stupid comments like this with, “Last time I heard that, I fell off my dinosaur!”
You bit is old as shite.

I bought that same Simon and Garfunkel album on vinyl a while back for $1. Is it worth anything or can I just keep it in my personal collection?

Some here think my house is wall to wall garage sale junk, but if you look back at all my threads over the last few weeks, everything I have fits into three large plastic totes. They are in my storeroom in the garage. The only things that are in my house are the jewelry & watches, and they fit into two gallon ziplock bags.
I don’t buy big stuff. It’s too hard to ship. That movie projector was pretty damn big, but luckily the guy that bought it had a business acct with UPS. He just shot me a label. I charged him $15 to box it up. That’s about as big as I’ll go.
If I do buy something big, I’ll flip it on FB marketplace, make them pick it up.

Vinyls are all about the pressings, like editions of books. You have to know which pressing you have.
