One of the few federal programs I like. Friend of mine was close to blind and it hampered him getting normal jobs but he worked for social security due to this program. They accommodated him with the necessary equipment so he could see well enough to work

My son is quite the resourceful person! He actually started volunteering at his local NPS while in college.
He then was inspired to study American History and one of his military history professors encouraged him to pursue a graduate certificate in archival studies at LSU!
While going for the cert, he worked tirelessly to find a reference/ archival assistant position at a local genealogy center.
It’s not an easy path- he put in the hours to overcome the obstacles and is ready to take on the challenges at his current NPS site. For someone like my son - that will remain anonymous - as he enjoys working behind the scenes.
He’s now in Philadelphia - before his job starts - enjoying what the city has to offer like visiting the Ben Franklin museum!

Tell him to just let Trump take home what he wants. Less problems for everyone

That is awesome! As a “special needs” father myself (she’s only 5) this gives me great hope for what will be available for her in her upcoming years!

That's fantastic, definitely a nod to his parents. You should absolutely be proud of him, that is a great accomplishment.

Hell. I’m jealous. I’m not autistic but dealing with old stuff. In an office or room where (I assume) no one hassles me. Get him to check if they’re hiring.
Congrats.
