I firmly believe that we need to start treating government corruption as more than a white-collar crime. It needs to see hard jail time and potentially the death penalty in the most egregious cases.
This is the way.

Man I love watching corrupt people fall.
I think this is going to be happening at an amazing rate pretty soon.

The timing of this is interesting. The Adams clearly pissed the wrong person off.
May not have made anyone mad, maybe it was just time for the lie to end.

That personal residence on Oakbrook Drive, which the couple bought in a cash sale in April 2023, cost $780,000.

But then 6 months later took out a mortgage for 624k on the house
Why?

They couldnt stomach it.

Maybe the funds from the mortgage was to repay LICO. . .could've caught wind of the investigation and thought they could head it off at the pass.

I’m sure there’s a very simple explanation for all of this. Pure coincidence, I’m sure.
He makes or made pretty good money for a state employee. Your Louisiana tax dollars spent well.
Go look at each of your parishes and you will throw up.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Thousands upon thousands of overpaid people on parish and state payrolls. Not only overpaid but underqualified.
It makes for the decisions youve seen the last 30 years quite honestly.

This isn’t a small accusation.
What’s the jail time for something like this? 10-20 years?

Fair warning, if LOC does not continue with LORA or similar program, be prepared for thousands of new orphan wells. Truly terrible that a great idea has been allegedly corrupted.
It would have to be a similar program if the allegations are true.
Can’t survive this kind of corruption.

Because they didn’t think this through. They get what’s coming to them. So many folks lost homes from the flood. These jokers flaunt that!!!

SO basically he's the governments version of Will Wade. Pretty sad that this happens to be a true statement bc our government is beyond corrupt on every level.
Good example I guess. But the governing body that cracked down on Will Wade picks who they go after. For example. Zion Williamson's family was bought a new house in North Carolina soon before he was believed to commit to another school, then all of a sudden after the house, that his family ended up moving in was purchased, he happened to have a change of heart to go to Duke.. which is obviously in... North Carolina.
Rick Pitino was caught during shite multiple times, even things involving his personal life in which he got into a fight with some dude in a restaurant which was said to be over a woman.. He survived donators giving players money.. But it took hookers for him to get fired. Evidently hookers is where the NCAA draws the line.
Then Bill Self is still at Kansas. Explain that one to me..
So yeah, all of the politicians are like some of the names I mentioned. A bunch of sleeve balls in a system that is afraid to touch them for whatever reason, but that same system is more than willing to go after small fries with the quickness just to maintain some perception of integrity.
