Why would you own handguns since they kill so many annually?

And you can fire some kickass rounds, much more energy than the 556.

Anyone who thinks they are the opposite sex than they actually are is already mentally f'd up.

Too bad all the morons on the left have spent years trying to normalize this instead of treating it like the mental illness that it actually is.

Neat.

I wonder if there's a difference in the US between two random states, say New Hampshire and Missouri...

a guy that says, "A 9mm blows the lung completely outside of the body" has no business even discussing gun laws.

Either that or he has a new 9mm round that I really want to have myself. Unfortunately that would be supernatural.

I’m not reading through this entire shitshow, I’ve read enough of them to know how they turn out.

However, if you think the answer to this problem is to further strip me, a law abiding citizen, of my right to protect myself, then frick you. We’re all heartbroken over this; you aren’t morally superior to me because you think turning me into a criminal so you can feel good is the right thing to do.

Personally, if we’re not going to address the real problem here, then we need to do what we can to help mitigate this shite. Harden the schools, stop making them soft targets. Take down the “gun-free zone” paper shields and allow the defenseless to become defenders.

You folks trying to strip me of my right to self defense are so laughably shortsighted. So what, there’s hundreds of millions of guns in the US right now owned by law abiding citizens that aren’t used in criminal acts, and you want to strip us of our rights because the tiniest fraction of people are criminals and use guns in their criminal acts? frick y’all. My 2A rights have been eroded far enough already. I’m completely unwilling to cede one more millimeter of ground to you pricks.

If you have the data, post it?

-there have been ZERO school shootings since the 1996 Dunblane Massacre

-there have been 3 total mass shootings in England since the start of the 2020’s. 7 total dead.

Mexico — 8
South Africa — 6
Nigeria & Pakistan — 4
Afghanistan — 3
Brazil, Canada, France — 2
Azerbaijan, China, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kenya, Russia, & Turkey — 1

I don’t know what year you selected, but this is what I see from the same source:
Congratulations, now imagine an unarmed populace where only criminals have guns. It grew everywhere else. Imagine what it could do here!!! I don't think you understand at all what would happen by unarming US citizens. 13% of those firearms are used to commit homicides in the US were legally obtained. That number includes defensive gun use i.e. stopping an attack. SO 87% of the firearms used for these numbers are illegally obtained... does the number grow or stay the same? What about violent crimes... it grew everywhere else they outlawed firearms?!

Half of those countries have open air gun markets and aren't nearly as violent as some are in the USA.

I wonder why...

Even state-wide data on violence and gun death is useless. You can pull out a handful of zip-codes in the US and it becomes one of the safest places on the planet.

The idea that the US is homogenously analogous to any other country is silly.
