I'm not personally a fan of theses types of setups, but there have been lots of developments in the city that were done under this framework over the past 20 years or so that seem to be doing okay for the most part. They aren't getting people making just $8 an hour with nothing else, it seems.

I don’t remember the specifics but they basically agree to have lower income housing for a certain period and when it runs out they are regular housing. They keep them vacant until then for the benefits.

Apparently this future project includes clones. Several of the people in this pic appear more than once.

They also have things such as offering 1BR and studio options which eliminate many prospective residents from qualifying.

I don’t understand why anyone would invest a single dollar in NOLA. The city has been ran by corrupt POSs for decades and crime continues to rise. It could be a great city again, but the welfare queens and hipsters hold it back

Which is fine. Summer is not a busy time for the city anyways. As long as it’s open for sept it will be okay.

At first I was like "Wow, good stuff." Then...

New Orleans can barely take care of their older entertainment district downriver.

Doomed from the start it is.

White guilters talk a mean game but never actually want to live next to the downtrodden.

The chemical runoff from the farms upriver is probably a much greater concern.

That or the fecal coliform from everything up the Red River.
