Had a 2001 Maxima for 9 years - no issues
2014 Infiniti Q50 still running great with 130k miles (3.7L naturally aspirated)
Replaced the missus' 2014 QX60 with a 2023 last year. Other than the CVT shudder (which was fixed under warranty), it was a solid vehicle and the replacement is great (and no CVT).
Hopefully, this is doomsaying that won't happen.

Good. If they and Volkswagen both crater and burn in the next couple of years the world will be better off.
I’ve always been amazed VW has managed to survive after WW2. They were literally Nazi cars. Still partially own by German government to this very day.

We had a 17’ Rogue and just like every other 17 Rogue (CVT tranny) it totally crappedvthe bed at 105k miles. Those tranny’s are disposable, they should stamp an expiration date in the casting bc that’s about all you’ll get out of it.
Funny, I just passed 130K today and haven't had an issue. I'm not sure if it has a CVT, though.

I bought my wife an armada out of spite bc the gmc dealership I’ve bought 2 vehicles before wouldn’t make a deal with me. I hope the bastards starve to death for being so greedy. I know they won’t but piss on em. She loves the armada btw

What about Infiniti? I bought one last year and it's nice.

Probably how much longer my CVT transmission will last as well

They build relatively affordable vehicles and are failing? Meanwhile Ford charges $70k for a pickup truck and is doing okay?

the Versa is the only sub 20k (good) new car you can find. My nephew had a 2021 one for his first car and there’s been no problems to my knowledge. There’s like two other sub20k cars: The Mitsubishi Mirage is shite and I believe Kia doesn’t make Rios anymore.

Well, when your commercials target a certain demographic, as well as your financial under-pinning, this is what happens. White people buy Toyotas.
If the US isn’t generating enough income that means there is less to steal so Nissan is fricked

They get a lot of hate here but certain Nissans are solid vehicles.
They lost me when they made their vehicles impossible to work on. Everything has to be done at their service center

The Leaf was the most popular car by far here for a brief time. Our lack of roads helps, because they had a low range at the time.
And we dont have a dealership here. Had to be shipped out for service.

As opposed to every other manufacture?
