Sorry to hear. Do NOT be nice. She wont.
Protect any assets NOW. Don't wait till she files, its too late.
Get ruthless and devious. I mean every fricking thing. Move money to a person account etc
If she's been handling bills, she's been stealing, once she planned on leaving.
Take over all finances and steal steal steal.

Hold up. Perhaps an unpopular post in this thread but shouldn’t you clarify her position before going nuclear?

You mentioned that you were considering engaging Michelle Sunseri as your counsel-

WTF now you are talking about recrimination, first it by and large doesn't exist now and two you don't even know how it worked when it existed
As any "wannabe lawyer" you focus on the written material. It exists, in true form, especially involving finances being argued as part of the final tally. You are smart enough to focus on what matters here. The MONEY.
The marriage is over, once he graps that, the quicker ha can be on the positive side of the division of assets, etc

But you're not spending it during the marriage and committing fraud trying to cover it up, in your examples.
It is absolutely during the marriage if no one has filed and both live under the same roof.
Not sure why you think otherwise

People don’t leave what they have unless they believe what they are going to is better for them.
Sometimes “better” can be to remove themselves from the situation. Sometimes “better” can be by themselves. Sometimes “better” can be for another person.
Pay attention and watch her actions, because these will always be telling.

I will try to break this down for you.
The OP is clear that he believes that the dissolution of his marriage is imminent.
You are aware of that.
You are giving advice on how to remove assets from the community property and obfuscate this removal.
That advice is a textbook example of a fraudulent transfer.
You can claw back a fraudulent transfer, and it will piss off the judge.
In simple divorces, this type of fraudulent transfer sometimes goes undiscovered for various reasons. In this case, the OP suggests there is a good chance of a forensic accountant being involved. Chances are if one side retains one both sides will. The chances of a forensic accountant missing the transfers is vanishingly close to zero, particularly if your hamfisted examples are employed.
You are simply giving horrible advice that is not legal. It doesn't help you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
