I believe 100% they are out there but I hate this comment because its based on absolutely nothing.
Who says they have to have found us by now. Maybe they have and are avoiding us like the plague. Maybe we are in a backwater arm of our galaxy. The farthest our signals have reached is like 100 lightyears and they are probably scrambled to nonsense by now.
Space is big and if you can navigate it, you can probably avoid stuff like us
