Jack Daniels if you want to display a lowbrow heritage

Jim Beam if you want to display middle class heritage

I’m from Kentucky, so on principle i wont drink JD. Beam 7 year isnt too bad.

Bourbon tip- if you have it available at your local liquor store, buy yourself as much Weller bourbon as you can. Its made from the exact mash as Pappy Van Winkle, just aged 7 years instead of 20. Very good wheated bourbon.

Wild Turkey 101 is better than all the one y’all have listed. It’s a decent high rye bourbon. I assuming you like a rye whiskey if you like Crown, which is an overpriced Canadian rye. In that case Rittenhouse is cheaper and much better.

Weller bourbon
Had that for the first time the other day.

Good stuff.

Hard to find in Scruffy’s area though.

Should it be Jim Beam’s or Jack Daniel? You can’t have it both ways, dammit.

Honestly. Four Roses.

Once I reached a certain age, I realized life’s too short to drink low scale whisky.

Both are crap and I would never pay for either. Most on this board enjoy flavored Crown Royal whiskeys.

If I'm drinking cheap shite I'm probably cutting it with Coke or 7 Up so it doesn't really matter.

Neither. When I go cheaper I get Old Forester. 100 proof if they have it or the liter of 86 if they don’t.

Agree on the four roses. Also Eagle Rare is a very good low cost bourbon. It has become so popular I have had a hard time finding any in the last few months.
