My best friends son sold them. My wife bought a $75...yes, SEVENTY FIVE DOLLAR, peanut butter spreader from him.

I asked him what he commission would be and he said $19 so, I tried to just give him a $20 and not buy the f'n knife. Wife gave me a guilt trip about being my best friends son and him getting them commission and points for the sale. Haven't used that damn thing out of spite in 3 yrs.

Cutco knives are awesome. I tried working for them right when I started college. Lasted 3 weeks. I personally don't like their style, but there were people who made decent money.

Cutco, like Primerica, is a pyramid scheme. The business targets kids who want money who will sell knives to their family and extended family. Most kids quit, but the cycle keeps repeating.

It’s not a career. Don’t do it.

Parents who let their kids sell shite like Cutco and try to guilt their friends into letting their little shite have “no obligation” demos are scumbags and shite parents.

Anybody who lets/encourages their kid to hawk this shite to friends and family needs to be publicly shamed, but the class of society in which this is prevalent is middle to upper middle class and they’re often above public shaming so they suck it up and write a check.

If your kid or family member sells Primerica, Vivint, Juice Plus, Cutco, Amway, Herbalife, Vector, etc. your relative is a fricking idiot.

You should have studied harder.

Seriously, use the money to go back to school. You’ve clearly hit rock bottom and need to reinvent/reboot yourself.

Everybody loves a good comeback story. Go get it.

I know of them. Would have really come in handy the other day when I was trying to slice a few pairs of leather boots. Just didnt have the right kitchen knives to get it done.

Cutco markets and sells the knives in a cheesy fashion. I have a set though and they're really high quality.
