I’ll second Keith Walker as well, even though he is a tiger he is an alright guy! You can find a ton of options here and it has a bunch of the awesome without a bunch of the silly y’all have in Louisiana
I appreciate that. The best thing about living on the coast is you get the best of both Louisiana and Mississippi cultures and you are close to a lot of great things

Made the move over a decade ago. Don’t regret it at all. Good fishing, great golf, good food. OS and BSL are good towns. But there are good spots in Biloxi and Gulfport, especially if you want to be on or near back bay or Gulfport Lake.

I am originally from BR, lived in Dallas twice, back to BR and then in Pass Christian for the passed 20 years. Did not want to move here but did because it's where my wife is from so it was important her and our jobs allowed for it. Can't believe I always say this but I wouldn't live anywhere else.
My opinion is that Ocean Springs is the nicest area on the Coast. Parts of Bay St. Louis are okay but Waveland, which borders BSL is a dump. Biloxi and Gulfport are fine. The biggest struggle we had when we first moved here was finding an actual neighborhood/subdivision. Nice ones were everywhere in BR and Dallas but not so much on the MS GC. We found a golf course community in the Pass and I love it.

We live in the Pass. We love living here. Very quiet but we don’t have to drive a long way for entertainment or shopping. We own rentals in Gulfport. It’s never hard to find tenants

We’re hoping to retire there in the next year or so.

I live in Gulfport and oceans springs has a great downtown area. Cool part about the coast is it’s so close together.

Bay St Louis or Ocean Springs.
This 100%.
BSL if you want to have a fast getaways to New Orleans or if Mobile/Gulf Shores are more of your fancy, then Ocean Springs and points east.
Just make sure you check your elevation on your house and how close you are to water sources.

The Lyman area north of Gulfport is pretty nice. They are building some nice houses for fair prices up there, and it is easy to get pretty much everywhere on the secondary roads. Same could be said about D'Iberville if you want to stay north of 10. South of 10 I'd have to agree with OS, BSL or Pass Christian.

Moved here from NOLA 2 1/2 years ago. Honestly, I don’t think I would desire to live anywhere else. About to build a forever home on Bayou Bernard in Gulfport. The wife’s parents have retired and moved from Mandeville. Her sister bought a weekend beach house in Long Beach. I like the fact that it seems as though life slows down a little bit here so you can enjoy it. The coast is on fire with growth. Now hopefully Gov Revees can pass no state income tax. ??

Got a place in bsl I’ll sell you. On the water in a great area.

There are some nice places north of I-10, but for me that defeated the purpose of being on or close to the water.

Originally from Baton Rouge and moved here almost 6 years ago. You couldn't pay me to live anywhere off I-12 in Louisiana now. My wife and I love it here. Move to Ocean Springs if you can swing it.

Ocean Springs / Pass Christian would be my vote

We moved to Pascagoula about 4 years ago from BR. Love it here and have done it sooner. BSL & OS are really nice places to live. Over here you will never say I'm bored and have nothing to do.

Waveland was nice not to far from home.

Interesting. I will ride by there. That is close to De Soto. I played golf at Fallen Oak a few months ago, and liked the area.
