All they have to do is call it a protest against poverty. As we have seen protesters control the roadway over otherwise legal drivers.

Do not re-elect these assholes. It’s unreal how they ignore it. These hobos are aggressive as frick too.

Yes, you are, especially since most if not all of these panhandlers are running scams.

For all the government give-aways made possible by compulsory redistribution of tax dollars and the printing of money, why the hell do I need to be harassed at a stop light?

Did Baton Rouge crack down on them?
I don't know if they "cracked down" on it or not, but it feels like the beggars have been moving around more. I've noticed some in areas lately that I hadn't really noticed much before.
So maybe they are sort of cracking down and the beggars are adjusting? Who knows.

Ok? How much of your money do you give away to panhandlers then, Mr. Highhorse? I can guarantee I’ve given more charitably this year than you have in your entire life.
It’s so funny that every douchey atheist liberal takes every opportunity to shite on Christians because we don’t enable every amoral societal reject, but y’all largely do nothing that you preach about.
If you want to support the less fortunate, go help underprivileged children, or people with medical bills that they can’t cover alone, or people/kids whose spouses have died in war or other ways, or basically anyone who didn’t choose their situation.
frick panhandlers and the $50,000 cash their lazy asses choose to bring home every year for standing there high as a kite and knocking on my window at every intersection

I definitely see them on 22 by 190 on the side by the traffic light (by McDonalds).
All the businesses are hiring. These people just don’t want to work and YOU are the problem if you’re giving them money.

Whoa, wait up there. Are these business people (panhandlers, beggars) paying taxes on their "incomes" ? Do they have a professional license ,issued by the parish/state, to participate in such a business ? I pay my taxes and I have to have a license to operate, shouldn't they ?

That describes the situation in Mandeville. Btw I would argue standing near a busy intersection is a hazard.

It's not ignoring it if it is perfectly legal. This problem does not and should not fall on law enforcement.

I asked one time when the Texas church people were here weekly and knocking on car windows with their buckets over by Canes. The response I received was them being in the median didn’t qualify as a hazard. If they walked to your car while you were stopped then that too wasn’t a hazard even if it was in the lanes of traffic.
Note that St Tammany Fire was doing the same thing on Hwy 190 Sunday.

The same lady is out every day at the south 190/22 exit in Mandeville every day. Slidellcajun pays to keep her out there. Makes no sense to me.
And the militant church group that comes in from Texas every month. I wave them off. Get a job. Stay in Texas.

Should they go have sex with the homeless? The homeless don't have anything to burn down, so other than the sex thing I'm afraid STPSO may be running out of tactics to apply.
