I pretty commonly get flashed in my truck when my brights are off. sorry the headlights are bright but they arent the brights

The vast vast majority of people have zero awareness of their surroundings or other people around them. It’s especially bad amongst women but more and more “men” are becoming this way too.

All my cars have auto bright/dim. They sense street lights or oncoming lights they switch to dim. A lot of cars have this feature it’s been around for at least 12 years.

You have to be a fool to believe that any Asians or soccer moms in Houston understand how it works.

How about you not use this? It doesn’t work that well.

feel like OP is one of those drivers that confuses the new headlights with brights.
My wife drives a Small Venue with those factory lights that are bright. If I drive her car at night, I get a couple lower cars flashing me. I flash back just so they know it was not my bright, but thank you for flashing. At least I hope that's how they take it. One person gave me a thank you finger the other night.

I found the a-hole. Change your lights if they’re too bright to be on your vehicle.

There are IRL dumbasses out there replacing auto adjusting/leveling headlight manifolds with some xenon HID cheap arse shite and that shite does NOT auto adjust/level, Damn, so they have it pointed at the wrong and ILLEGAL angle pissing people like me off and breaking the law and ruining peoples' eye sight all night. Do Chrysler / Dodge vehicles still have manual light controls?

A pair of yellow shooting "sun" glasses really helps with the glare of LED headlights. I wear prescription lenses so I purchased a pair of clip ons and I always wear them at night, in fog, and in rainy situations not only does it help cut down the glare of the high-tech headlights and the douchebags with the light bars but it really helps improve your vision in low light conditions low visibility conditions

I drive all over the country mainly in the early mornings - theres a lot of people that just leave their brights on. It's absolutely annoying but my lights are brighter and I hit them with the high beams in return.
That's all well & good, but remember, if you leave them on bright instead of just flashing, then you've got a blinded driver coming towards you just like you the blind driver headed towards them. Not sure that's an optimal situation.
