Worked at a $1, 2 screen movie theater in HS. We had two games, Frogger and Galaga.
Had the key and can still dominate on either game. That’s been 30+ years.

We stayed at one in Sandestin last fall that had Galaga, about 4 Pac Mans, and Dig Dug. Plus a Golden Tee and a ping pong table. Was a lot of fun with my 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter.

I was 15 again!! I never thought I'd have so much nostagia..
I used to do the trick so they didn't fire at you and then play for hours on a quarter.

Haven’t read the thread, has anyone called you a big nerd yet?
Because you’re a big fricking nerd, but that’s cool too. Sorta.

Anyone else still hear the anthem and crowd roar button when you look at this?

How could it? Travel ball wasn't invented at that time yet.

I was really good at Frogger and Asteroids, though at higher levels that shite is just flying at you and got very difficult.

That game was way too expensive. Cost 50 cents and it could end rather quickly as could 5 bucks.
However I could play Donkey Kong for a good half hour on a quarter.

That’s cool. For some reason, I thought of that game recently.

On stage 1 or 2, kill all the enemies except the bottom two blue ones on the left side of the screen. Let them circle around while you dodge them and their shots. Do not kill them. After they circle around for a minimum of three times without firing at you, then you kill them. The rest of the game, the aliens will not shoot at you.
