My local popeyes is surprisingly well managed
Obviously that isn’t the one on Greenwell Springs.

That Popeyes store probably has crazy waste by the employees.
I had some similar bullshite the last time I ate at a Popeyes. It’s why I only go to off the hook now.
Better prices, less bullshite

Worst door dash / Popeyes order ever a couple of weeks ago. Not fair to blame door dash for this one. The guys sat in the store for an hour. He quit waiting after an hour.
I finally received my food almost 2 hours after ordering it. They kept changing the delivery timer. 20 minutes.... 1 hour.... 12 minutes... 45 minutes.
I ordered spicy and got what I think wasn't even mild. I would swear they ran out of spices and it was just flour. Oh, I paid for white meat and received mixed. As is normal now, the side containers were slightly over half filled.
Their customer service is AI and it does nothing and then gives a message that they hope you enjoyed the experience.
I don't get Popeyes often anymore. This moves them much further down the options list.

I'll put up with a little wait because it tastes so much better than Canes. The boneless wings are really good as well.
Also I don't live in the hood so the locations around me aren't nearly as bad as some.

Smallest chickens out of all of the fast food joints although the chicken sandwich is bigger than most chains.
I would swear they changed the spice recipe. You used to be able to see the red pepper on the chicken. Spicy now tastes just slightly hotter than mild.
I'm done. Amazing with all of the hot chicken places growing all across the country and the brain trust at Popeyes neuters their spicy.

Well, you got a “I’m sorry” which is better than most of them.

Most things more run more smoothly when there are better employee options. I don’t do fast food here, but other places are fine. Well, except chic fil A. They do it right.

I remember back in the mid 90s when the Popeyes in Gonzales had a buffett. We'd hit that on the way down to NOLA. What a time to be alive.
